Introduction
The purpose of this interview guide phenomenological research is to describe the central phenomenon experience for online learners in a business or technology doctoral program informed by the theoretical framework. At this stage in the research, the central phenomenon being studied will be generally defined as methods that online learners can lead to effective work-life balance.
Crafting Effective Interview Questions
Shobitha and Sudarsan, (2014) review literature related to work-life balance to come up with holistic result that is based on related research’s. The study found out that most research focuses on developed countries, and only few focus on developing countries such as India. Besides, the study also found that there were studies that focused on consequences of work-life balance. Other studies focused on factors that influence work-life balance. Some of the theories utilized in the research include work/family border model, segmentation model, and instrumental model. The article by David, (2019) is specific and talk about how online learners can successfully lead a work-life balance. This paper will use different research and article to come up with questions regarding work-life interview questions for online learners. Some of the interview questions are discussed below.

1) Kindly what is the name of your organization?
This question serves to attract online learners' attention to the interview. It also tries to get the picture of the company he/she works for so that they can link company or industry to work-life balance aspect for analysis
2) what is your level of education ?

This question aims to establish if there is a relationship between work-life balance and education level of the respondent.
3) are you married? If yes, is your patterner employed? Is your family an extended one?
This question aims to establish if a worker has more commitment besides work roles. It also aims at understanding if he or she is the sole breadwinner to establish if their commitments are excess
4) Are you often overloaded with work? Or do you often work longer than the standard 8 hours daily shift? Or do you have more than one job?.
These questions aim at understanding the nature of the working environment if it overloads the employees with excess work or economic situation pushes him/her to have several alternative jobs for survival.
5) averagely, how many hours do you work for unpaid and paid overtime?
This question aims at analyzing the work environment and further to evaluate if employees can have adequate time to manage online classes. 6) do you have a flexible working schedule ?
This question aims at evaluating the employees’ ability to enjoy flexibility in workplace. It also looks at whether working condition gives employee an opportunity to grow, relax and heal when they are disappointed or hurt. It also evaluates if employees' ideas are integrated into the system.
7) do your manager support you during difficult moments?
This question aim at understanding humanity in workplace and whether management is concerned with wellbeing of employees.
8) has your organization embraced telework systems? Are you allowed to telework?
This question ais at evaluating whether the company has embraced smart working methodology. It also evaluate the level of flexibility allowed to employees.
9) how far is your workplace from home?
This question try to evaluate whether an employee spent too much time commuting. Too much time commuting means that employees may lack enough time to stay with family after work.
10) does your organization have wellness centers, counseling department, and socialization culture?
This question aim at identifying whether there are systems in the company that promotes better living condition. The question will also seek to understand the quality and operational capability of those systems.

Interviewing a worker with an online course for work-life balance should always focus on time factors, working condition factors, and education level. The question will be used in collection of data that can be used in evaluation. smart companies should embrace modern technology such as telework system. Modern technology gives employees flexibility and opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills.
