2. Read the Jumpstarter case posted in Topic 2. Students will be assigned to take either the role of the plaintiff, Hartley or the role of the defendant,
Jumpstarter in this case.

a. Plaintiffs : Develop a case for Hartley. On what theory can he recover from Jumpstarter? What should his damages be?

b. Defendants: What defenses can you assert for Jumpstarter?

c. Everyone: Who will win? Is it ethical to recall a product and fight a lawsuit at the same time? Final discussion responses must post by Sunday, 11:59 p.m.
