These terms are meant to make Plusacademics’s services seamless, fair and professional. By accessing the terms and conditions page, signing up for Plusacademics's services or by accessing any service offered by Plusacademics, you are bound by Plusacademics’s terms and conditions including the privacy policy.  Plusacademics’s services are only available to users who are of legal contractual age based on the legal requirements of a specific nation. Therefore, those that are not of legal age to transact any business may not be able to use Plusacademics website.  For more information or questions concerning Plusacademics’s terms and conditions, contact our customer support for assistance.

Intellectual Property Rights

Other than the content you own under these terms and conditions, Plusacademics and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in the website.

Your license is limited to the purpose of viewing the materials contained on our website and you cannot initiate any changes without Plusacademics license.

How it works 
A buyer can be a freelancer, and a freelancer can be a buyer in this platform by switching the account from either a buyer account to a freelancer account or from a freelancer account to a buyer account. It should be noted that one needs no two accounts to enjoy buying and selling services since only one is enough.

For buyers

A buyer needs to open the account first and then search for specific services that he or she needs. The Plusacademics site will then display possible services offered.  The buyer can then select the most suitable services that show up in the list. Once the service is selected, it is advisable for the buyer to contact the freelancer selected before ordering. Once an agreement is reached, the freelancer can initiate a contract with the buyer. If the contract is agreed upon by the buyer, the delivery process can be initiated.

Payment

We have two payment system i.e. PayPal and iPay. iPay is our preferred payment method since it easier to use and secure for both parties involved.  

Not satisfied?

After delivery, the buyer will always have a chance to ask for revisions until satisfied. If the quality is still not satisfactory, the buyer can as well ask for a refund. The buyer can get a refund up to 20 days after delivery.  When a refund is asked, the order amount is returned to buyer’s balance. Since service fees are already charged during the ordering process, the refund does not include services fees.  Since there are always cases of abuse, Plusacademics limits the number of times one can request a refund. In most cases, refunds will be done by the support department.

For freelancer

Freelancers need to fill their profile and create an ad to display their services. The ads have been designed to be simple but also enable the freelancer to be detailed enough. Once the profile and the ad are created, the services offered by freelancers will be displayed on our website as well as search engines. If the client selects your service, they will contact you. Once an agreement is met, you will enter into a contract with the customer. When you deliver the work, and there is no revision within 72 hours, the amount earned will be debited in your account, and you can view it in your balance record. The amount will be available for withdrawal 20 days after the work is delivered. The balance will be cashed out using PayPal, Payoneer and M-pesa services. The minimum amount that can be sent to you is $20.

Order payments

Plusacademics understands the problem associated with chargeback and it requests both sellers and buyers to resolve payment issues within the platform. However, in the case of chargeback and there is no solution available to resolve the issues, chargeback the cost will be incurred by the seller.

Services offered

The seller should ensure that the content of their services is original. In case of any third party material used, the seller should make sure that they have all the license and permission required.

Your Content

In the Plusacademics terms and conditions, your content refers to any video text, audio recording, images or other materials you choose to display on the website. Once you choose to display your content, you grant Plusacademics a non-exclusive, worldwide irrevocable, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, translate and distribute on all and any media platform it chooses.

Your content should be original and not invading on any third party rights. Plusacademics reserves the right to remove, delete or edit any of your content on the website without your notice.

We understand that you provide critical information while using our services. The information you provide helps us to render services. This policy will outline the kind of information we collect and how we safeguard it not to land in the hands of unauthorized parties. The data is collected by plusacademics.org. The information is collected during the account setting and order processing. The type of data collected includes names, account information, email addresses, mobile phone number, and other personal information.

Order processing: without this information, order processing cannot be possible since billing is required as well as notification of delivery.

Account maintenance: to create an account, we need information that will enable us to communicate with you about projects, changes, and requirements.

If for any reason to and you have a problem with deleting your personal information, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to delete any such information pursuant to any applicable privacy laws. The terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Plusacademics and you in regard to the use of the services provided. It also includes the services you provide through Plusacademics to the clients and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

Suspension and Termination of Accounts

By You

You can terminate your subscription at Plusacademics at any time by going to your account page. This action will lead to your account being deactivated and your access no longer possible. The action is immediate once Plusacademics confirms that you are the one who wishes to close the account. An email will be sent to you informing you that you have deactivated your account and if you would wish to reverse the action.

By Plusacademics

Plusacademics reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account when you fail to follow the regulations and violet the terms of service. You will not access your account as it will be blocked and you will be notified via email. In case of a suspension, you are expected to explain the situations that lead to the misconduct. Plusacademics will determine whether it was intentional or accidental and this will determine the next course of action, which can include reinstatement of your account or termination. When your account is terminated, an email will be sent to explain the issue. For queries that concern actions affecting your account, you are to direct them to the Plusacademics support management team. 

User conducts

Plusacademics expect the highest level of respect and privacy among sellers and buyers at the platform. Plusacademics strictly prohibits sharing of personal contact information such as email, phone number, social media ID, skype ID and any other related information.

Plusacademics, therefore, expect a high level of professionalism from all the users of the services provided by the platform. In case of any violation, do not hesitate to contact our prompt responding customer care team.

Metrics

Response rate: the number of times responded to within 4 hours compared to the total number of contact from the client.

Winning rate: the orders received compared to the total number of contacts from the client.

Retention rate: the number of returned client orders compared with the total number of old clients.

Beginner stage: on sign up intermediate expert: earned 1500$, maintain 90% and above of all those three metrics.

Professional level: earned 10,000$ and above and plus maintaining 95% and above of all those metrics.

Variation of Terms

Plusacademics has the rights to revise the terms and conditions at any time necessary and make the essential changes if any without your notice. You are expected to review the terms and conditions on a regular basis to be aware of the changes.

Assignment

Plusacademics is permitted to assign, reassign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under the terms and conditions without giving you any notification. However, you are not allowed to make assign, reassign, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under the stated terms and conditions.

Severability Clause

The terms on the Plusacademics website are independent of one another. Therefore, any term found by the binding regulations to be void or non-effective will be removed without affecting the rest of the terms, and you do not have to be consulted for the changes to be effected. The remaining terms will still be as effective and useful as before.

Restrictions

Plusacademics restricts you from engaging in the following activities:

Publishing part or all of Plusacademics material in any other media without our licensing.

Selling, sublicensing and/or making commercial any of our materials.

Owning two accounts with pseudo names, to make it look like they belong to different people.

Giving false information during account registration and processing.

Using Plusacademics website in a way that can cause damage.

Affecting user access of Plusacademics by wrong use of the website.

Data harvesting, data mining or any other activity regarding data where Plusacademic website is concerned.

Giving false information regarding the services you are offering.

Proving wrong information regarding what you are looking for as a buyer.

Use of unprofessional language on the Plusacademics platform.

Summary 

Exchange of personal communication contacts is strictly prohibited and any violation may lead to the termination of the user accounts.

Plusascademics do not guarantee any specific level expected outcome offered by our sellers. In case of dissatisfaction, kindly use our resolution systems.

Plusacademics do not guarantee or offer warranty based on services offered on Plusacademics platform.

Plusacademics do not control or protect users for services offered outside this platform.

All information and material necessary for orders should be exclusively shared through this platform unless advised otherwise by support.

Plusacademics do not tolerate mean, abusive or offensive words and actions in this platform. Any violation of this term may lead to termination of the account.

Users should not use any means, process or deceptive action to direct Plusacademics users to engage in a transaction outside this platform.

Plusacademics do not discriminate anyone thus everyone regardless of where they are located, are welcomed to use the services offered.

Withdrawal of your balance may attract some transaction fees depending on the service a provider that you use.

Any purchase in Plusacademics involves the transfer of limited rights from freelancer to the buyer.  Both Plusacadamics and its service provider are not liable for any service or product delivered that does not meet the buyer’s required a purpose.

Warranties

Plusacademics expresses no representations or warranties of any kind related to the website or materials contained therein, as the website is provided “as is” with all faults. Also, nothing contained in the Plusacademics platform shall be interpreted relating to you.

Plusacademics DO NOT PROVIDE ANY WARRANTY OR ASSURANCE FOR USING ITS WEBSITE OR ANY CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH IT. THEREFORE, ANY USER OF THE SITE BEARS ALL THE RISKS FULLY AND PLUSACADEMICS RESERVES NONE.

Violations

There are several conducts or behaviors that can amount to violations while using this platform. Users will receive notification through their email in case they violate any of Plusacademics terms.  Violation warnings may be subjected to limitation or any other appropriate measures such as restriction and disabling of your account depending on kind of violation and number of violation you have received.

Pornography: this site prohibits the production and distribution of adult materials through Plusacademics website.

Spam and phishing: any content that aims to deceive or compromise users of Plusacademics services is strictly prohibited. Any phishing and spamming activity are subjected to full account closure.

Privacy: any material shared by the buyer should be subjected to high levels of privacy. The material provided should be used solely for service delivery and nothing else.

Authenticity: you are strictly prohibited from using false information to create your account. Please do not use profile information or location information that is not correct. Plusacademics reserve all right to request documents for verification.

Copyright: Plusacademics will respond adequately about any copyright or ownership infringement. Plusacademics will follow all the recognized guidelines concerning copyright and ownership properties to determine appropriate action.

Unlawful business: Plusacademics do not tolerate any business classified as illegal and it will always act accordingly to avoid any illegal dealings in the platform.

Multiple accounts: for fairness and easy management of the platform, Plusacademics only allows a user to have one account.  It also prohibits the creation and usage of multiple accounts. It should be noted that only the original documents will be required in case of a need for verification.

Selling of an account: Plusacademics strictly prohibits selling or buying of accounts. This is why account creation is free and easy.

Any copyright infringement will be dealt with based on the known Legal framework.
